If it weren't for the fact that he's a rooster there's no way he would have been selected, he was the cause of Holmes scoring in origin 1 and again last night he was like a fish out of water in defence, whether catching a high ball or generally defending, at his worst Saab is an improvement even in headless chook mode and running backwards, there were better options than him and Fittler should let us all know why he persisted in keeping him, his best days are well behind him

Yep, couldn't agree more. Although I think Toopoo is a reasonable player and has been good throughout much of his career, he was a poor selection for this series and a baffling one.

Yes he's been a great player in the past but at the twilight of his career it's difficult to understand why he would be picked when there's so many excellent quality wingers in the NRL, I would have thought after game one that his obvious defensive deficiencies would have Fittler looking elsewhere but he can’t seem to get past the love fest he has with the Rorters, NSW needs a coach who's prepared to overlook his past connections and pick the best players available

Anyone seen DCE or Slater comment on DCE putting in long field kicks on the 2nd tackle last night? Seemed a completely different tactic to humdrum NRL. The Blues forwards couldn't handle being forced back down the field. Should DCE and Manly adopt this? Maybe it only works in Origin? In NRL all the penalties and six agains favour the team with the ball.

Most really dominant defensive sets end up conceding a penalty or 6 again.

Don't think there was to many punches thrown after the headlock , iwas happy with both Gagai and Burton going to the bin Burton knocked Ponga down then chased after Gagai so he wasn't totally innocent

Hindsight is great but Burton should've been shifted to 6 with the centres being Wighton and Latrell. Luai was invisible the whole series when he wasn't being a total grub.

I dont understand why JAC wasnt there, he has always delivered at origin level.
