He is no ball hog jake, he gets it to the outside backs. That is why he is dangerous as a front rower. Compare that to gallen who never passed the ball.

Qld did not come out for the second half. Seriously, it looked like a training run for NSW.

Jake was massive for the Blues. 71 minutes, 16 runs, 143 metres, 61 post contact metres, 31 tackles, one missed tackle.

Cherry didn't play a bad game. He just didn't have any quality ball and Qld directed most of their attacking plays down the left with Ponga and Munster combining. And then in the second half playing behind a well beaten pack there was little he could do to change the result.
