Yeah, but it was Adam Blair. 10 on 1 would’ve been fine in that event. :p
Also, don't forget the Manly players were slammed for their behaviour and four of them, including Brett Stewart and Kieran Foran, were suspended. Glenn and Darcy Lussick got three weeks. Brett and Foz got one. Michael Robertson was charged but didn't miss a game.

Surprisingly, The Battle of Brookvale has its own Wikipedia page here: Battle of Brookvale - Wikipedia

Article makes some good points, and without doubt some of us on here are his harshest critics as we watch closer than the average punter. Here's the thing, when Bozo and Manly decided to invest 1.25M a year for 8 years in DCE, the reasoning was based on a return on such a huge sum i.e. premierships. At the least, one of them. The article states that DCE has always had a strong pack in front of him during these years at Manly but lacked quality outside backs (seemingly only citing Saab as an example). Doesn't the playmaker 'make' the outside men? Premierships have been won with outside backs a lot worse than Taufua, Walker, Uate, Kelly, Garrick, etc. E.g. in 2015, JT made guys like Coote, O’Neill, Linnett, Winterstein look like world beaters. All us Manly fans want is one hard fought premiership per decade with no spoons in between. We expect this, as this form of consistent success is what sustains pride in our jersey. Chez needs to fulfil his end of the agreement, lifting the Provan-Summons trophy once before he retires. He has the ability. Does he have the leadership?

It's a fine balance, Jake and Ola aside, our forward pack hardly screams premiership!
I don't think they instill fear into opposition sides, and as for setting a platform for the backs...

How many more years do we have the $900K Labrador for. No wonder we can't find a hooker.
$1.2mill capt confused goose
$1.0 mill porcelain bench ornament
$900K plodding labrador
$800K cornrows benchpresser.
Nearly half the salary cap.
God help us.

Can we get @mickqld on the player retention board, he'd certainly liven them up. They'd need to be televised meetings for Silvertails though! Jokers would be wetting themselves uncontrollably.

Does DCE have leadership ?
Do Sea eagles fly ?
Both Yes !

DCE has the leadership . He lead his state and his country to Victory

DCE does not have the over all quality team at Manly that are capable of winning a premiership

It took years for the Cowboys to essemble the quality team for JT to win his sole premiership

This article sums up the Maroons Superior Winning Passion ....

Kenty claims Radley defection proves Origin jersey currently means more to Maroons

“Queenslanders speak of Queensland first, Australia second. We’ve got guys now speaking of England first, Samoa first, Tonga first and the Blues second.

“They see Origin not as the dream but they see it more as the status of playing Origin.
