Something stinks at Manly

For 2 years now, things have definitely changed at the joint. What in hell is going on behind the scenes, because the players do not seem to be really putting in for the coaches or even each other. We offloaded a bunch of average players last year and replaced them with even more average players. This club has always succeeded on a platform of developing their juniors and recruiting top line players. That mix has been tried and true since the 1960's.
We now have a Northern Eagles look, but even those sides had more attacking flair than the dull and dreary performances these guys are dishing up.
Is there a cancer within the club? Because it sure looks like it!
A loss next week and our season is done I reckon.
In 2 years this club has gone from the benchmark of the competition to a mediocre also ran. I can't believe it 🙁
Let's all pray that the boys can lift in the coming weeks, and we jag a bit of luck from the referees. Please Manly give us SOMETHING to hope for

Walker, Tapau, Myles, Parcell, and Lussick, were lauded as great signings before the start of the season by plenty on here, and probably rightly so. Potentially all very good players but there hasn't been a lot of consistency delivered. Not sure where the problem lies, is it form, coaching, lack of bonding ? ....who knows. But this side should be delivering better performances then is currently being dished up.

Agree, they have turned out to be average. Surely the problem runs a bit deeper. There is no cohesion, especially with ball in hand. Just monotonous hit ups then a hit and hope kick...its rubbish really.
I was quoted many times as saying I would give them 10 rounds. We have had injuries, but not a lot of improvement so far. Some posters have mentioned culture and passion in other threads.....I'm not seeing much of either!

I was very happy to give Mr Barrett his due chance but it is just not working viewing from my "armchair" critics position! Yeah, there is a few out of form but is that form being hampered by bad coaching?

Here here ,sack Barrett totally out of his depth. No idea how to organise attack or inspire camaraderie amongst players. We are playing like strangers. Sack Seibold the scums minister of defence, because we don't have any. Sack Ferris the useless conditoner and so called strength coach as we are playing like a busted arse.No light at the end of the tunnel unfortunately
