With what has transpired this weekend re injuries what do people think our season looks like now ?

We were never going to win the premiership this year, salary cap scandal and Todd have made sure of that.

I see this year we blood some new players who are in our top 30 and let them get a taste of 1st grade.

My prediction now is if we make it to week 1 of finals again then we will have succeeded this year. 7th position is my prediction..any more serious injuries 10-12th for me.

2019-2022 really looks like our best chance of getting into another GF and winning.

I doubt there has been an opening to a season with as many upsets as we've had in 2018. It seems that many teams can only reproduce one good performance every couple of weeks. Injuries will play a huge part in our success, or not. We are now down five of our top 17 players, and we are going to have to rely on youths becoming men very quickly.

And some teams are having a little trouble adjusting to having the rules of the game applied to them in the same manner that our team has been dealt with over the years.

I reckon this comp is wide open.
In all fairness Manly are not the team you would bet on for your life but are in line with 5-6 hopefuls and that’s good enough for me.

I agree Maxta.

I know a bunch of our guys are going to rip this thing wide open by rising to a level or 2 above the one they were inhabiting.

We have lost Sirro and Tanga but Horehey will be back half way through.

I would like to see Bazo blood Anderson and Twilight in our "easier" games.

I'm banking on AFB, Dylan TT and Kelly to do a jake the peg impersonation and Suli to enter in about 2 months.

The only teams above us on the ladder so far are renowned faders and the star teams of recent years are playing like crap.
