Brett has been goin great guns over the last few weeks,i would not be surprised If he gets a call-up for the third origin in place of the injured Hoppa,I still belive he should have played in the second origin instead of bringing in hoppa/dugan,he is such an asset to our team and imo is the best timer in the game (has the best timing) ,even if he has lost a touch of speed he just knows where to be to set up a try and if not score one,my favourite manly player and an asset to our club,a true athlete...brett to play in origin 3? brett just improving and improving,brett for PM?? THOUGHTS???

Loz already said he won't pick him unless Hayne is injured as Brett is only a fullback.

I think he can do it, but would prefer to see him in the maroon and white next Friday night against the Scumdogs than sitting in the stands watching because he'd been selected for the dead rubber Origin Game 3.
IF Snake gets selected by NSW then good luck to him, but as good as his form is I can't see Daley wanting to switch Hayne from FB to the centres or wing, and Snake is a specialist FB. I think they'll go for the younger players who are centres or wingers (players like Jorge). With the series already won its the perfect opportunity to blood a couple of younger players and see how they handle it.

Take into account Gift, Killer, Snake, Ballin, Foz and DCE, we have so many kicking options across the park, not to mention our quality set plays and players on both sides of the field. Must be a nightmare for other teams to defend against us.

Can't see Snake getting into the Origin team unless both Hayne and Dugan go down injured.
Laurie has a perfect opportunity to blood in someone for this game, or throw a game to someone who may have played a game here or there. I think he may go for a Jack Wighton or someone like that. (and push Dugan to wing)

Zorba talking cryptic messages on 2KY. Snake's form improvement is being injury free & being on a mission to prove something & he hopes Snake plays out his career at Manly. I couldn't follow most of it.
I heard that too, he also hinted at some drama after the match with a sponsor.
No idea what he was on about, so I don't know why he bothered saying any of that

Also, Snake's extra motivation before the match was praps due to his being unavailable for the first round match, playing injured in the GF, and missing out on the SOO.
That dropped ball in the first half didn't hurt either, cause just a couple of minutes later he made that big break up the centre of the field. Making up for it. I notice how he gravitated toward the centre of the field, with that one away from where the backs might be out wide. Smart play.

I nearly fell off my chair when I saw Snake try a 50m long clearing kick - obviously suggests he is no longer too worried about his hammy's - but lets not tempt fate. No more long kicks snake not good for my blood pressure.

Like so many players like him, I think Snake stars only in Club games. Yes I know he played well in his last SOO but like Syd, he has to buy his time under the other players.
At Manly, he is The Senior player and he may command the play at his call.
Besides the fact, let the other NSW players wear the hits & bruises in the SOO spectacle. Save the Snake for the one that matters!
