What confuses me here is that Labor elected him as the best person for the Speakers role yet He is a Lib who did this under a previous Lib government and with another libe meeting with the alleged victim weeks before (possibly to discuss finally releasing the info) and its the libs giving it. Surely the **** should be sticking to many of them from the Howard era than were around when it was originally swept under the carpet

Yes and no Fluffy. In the Irish Post Office the bomb goes off with the last person holding it, and that is what is happening here.
