Kiwi, I think something that you posted up a while ago sums up the two fairly well - Slater makes the normal look amazing while Snake makes the amazing look normal, or something along those lines.

There's no doubting that Slater is the best fullback in the game at the moment, but I think that if Brett hadn't had those two years out with his knee issues he'd easily be the better of the two at the moment. Better support play, better passing game, better defence & overall better game awareness than Slater. The only thing Slater has over Brett is his kick returns, he is a winger playing at the back while Brett is a true #1.
