He's not even close to cracking the first grade spot imo, on both form and now due to how well Keppie, Schuster and Olakautau have been

hate to say it, but i wouldnt have him back in the team until his from in reggies deserves the promotion. Suli is a worry also. Walker might be an option, but i dont see his defence as being as good as parker/harper, but can certainly add some attacking flair when he is on this game

Des kept the team the same and only made injury forced changes when we were getting pumped 13+ every game in that first month. So now that we are 3 on the trot with an injury free team, why make changes now? It would be so stupid.

These guys will have their work cut out this week against Kikau but Keppie has been fantastic and a little under the radar i think.

There was shot of the bench yesterday with Sippers going off at the win and poor old Sirro the look on his face was on the outside “I have to smile and be happy fir the team ,but on the inside i’m thinking how the hell do I get back in ?”

Agree on Cust against the heavyweight teams.

Don’t think i’d pick walker over Parker yet. Parker seems to be playing a big role on that edge. Runs good attacking lines and is (importantly) a good defender when confident. I don’t think it is always a good thing to have everyone be a strike player (like at the storm). Our centres do some good little things now and Garrick and especially Saab are being used more often.

If walker gets fit and finds his form again playing centre in reserves i’d be happy for him to make the side over Parker, but I would make him work for it

Not convinced Harper’s defence is anything to be confident about just yet given the opposition he’s faced and this weekend will be a litmus test but one thing he does possess is a second effort and if he is beaten he’s trying his hardest to rectify the mistake,which is more than what Suli showed
