TKO has been decent all year and even better than that on the weekend. 1 year rolling deal playing for a contract keep him motivated and he'll do a good job for us. Not getting carried away though.
I think we know that won’t happen , but boy oh boy if it does wouldn’t it be magical. Can we produce that level of performance consistently? That has been an issue for us. Boy I hope they can make a big run into the semis.
Yep, agree. TKO was signed on minimal coin after the dogs pulled out on medical grounds (but probably had their doubts about his form coming off his Catalans sojourn). His capital has certainly increased this year.Tbh I imagine we lose TKO next year unless we upgrade him. He's shown enough to demonstrate he is still a real NRL player, and reliable experienced props are in demand. If Aloiai is forced to retire - and updates on him seem to have gone pretty quiet - I imagine we upgrade TKO.
100 percent....even 2 years....can someone please also convince Jazz to stay for another year![]()
Taukeiaho puts hand up for Tonga after NRL revival
Manly prop Siosiua Taukeiaho is pressing for a Tongan recall in the end-of-season Pacific Championships against Samoa and New Zealand.www.nrl.com
Doesn't sound as though he's treating Manly as a retirement home. And if he is selected back into one of the strongest Test packs ... would suggest he's worth far more than we signed him for.
He's actually been an on-field leader this year. And getting better, not worse!
Sign for one more year with options, at decent coin.
Unless he's got big money offered I'd imagine the club was ok with letting him go. In which case there will be other plans.100 percent....even 2 years....can someone please also convince Jazz to stay for another year
He may well be over the Achilles injury by then but I doubt very much if anywhere near match fit. Engine room going great atm. I would not tamper with that. Can only get better (barring injuries). One of the more unfortunate things about Paseka's injury was that he hasn't had a real chance (outside of round 1) to play alongside Taukeiaho, think they would complement each other quite well and Siua's experience and workrate could've really helped him go to another level
On Paseka does anyone give him a chance of returning this year? Imagine it would be a pretty difficult return from an Achilles injury for a man of his size but NRL.com has him back in round 26 so maybe there's a chance, geez that would be a nice addition heading into finals
