Williamson , with the GOAT photos , would take some doing
I was Luke Dorn early on, then Willo from then on.Williamson , with the GOAT photos , would take some doing
Thought that Paul Stevo made a good contribution at centre during his Manly stint and in that rebuilding phase .He is currently in football operations at the Titans after being CEO at Tweed Heads. His role with the QRL has head of match officials.
I think the lesson for everyone on here should be that you never really know what the plan for a player is. Are they playing out of position? Are they not used to a particular style or structure? Are they being used to their strengths or are they having to cope with playing the way a coach wants them to play to fit the team dynamic. Not all are superstars that can shift so easily. How many young prodigies never make it? How many players either shine or fail when going to a different club?Thought that Paul Stevo made a good contribution at centre during his Manly stint and in that rebuilding phase .
Solid and generally a good positional and team player with some quite reasonable all round ability and passing game
Didn "t realize that he made that fairly drastic switch from front row which was even more of a credit to him but do recall him being named in the 2nd row at some stage when he moved to the Sharks..
Anyway good that post career he has managed a good and constructive connection to the code
very good points , all of them.I think the lesson for everyone on here should be that you never really know what the plan for a player is. Are they playing out of position? It’s why , I was so frustrated with the negativity on here regarding Woodsie. That's why i'm always banging on about any player at the right price is a good deal. Whether its a change of scenery, culture, structure or coach a player needs, as long as you don't over pay you can't go wrong. Players get turned over all the time. You win some and you lose some. Some players are even good to keep around for experience and morale. look at Aaron Woods. He knew exactly what his job was when he came to us.
Yes I’d forgotten Kingie , he was slammed pretty hard as well.4 pages in - and everyone seems to have forgotten:
Jason King was accused by MANY on here, over MANY years of being a second rate plodder, and his missed tackles and penalty count was the reason for all of our losses.
Let me be clear - I am NOT one of those - he is in my top 10 favourite players..... but he was on many a silvertail naughty list
