Silvertails greatest ever whipping boy

Craig Field played well below how he had played at Souths when he was at Manly and he was my 'whipping boy' back in the days, however, I think Chris Bailey copped it from most and then probably Nate Myles. Jye Mullane copped a lot, however, he was on peanuts compared to the other two.

I think Lodge should have been a 'whipping boy', as while he was mostly good when he was there, he was hardly ever there and then left to chase the dollars and is now sitting there scratching his butt and wondering..."Should I have taken the offer from Manly?'

Brayden Wiliame just had the unfortunate experience of being selected or playing in Manly sides who lost regularly in that particular era
Thought quite unfairly of being targeted actually , did have a couple of defensive issues at the time but was no worse then some of the other Manly backs and in that department .
Yep, that was my point re "Steppa" Stephenson, too. When the team is winning regularly, nobody is looking for a whipping boy. But when the team is losing, everybody is a target.
