Reynolds is a NSW Cup winning half (refer to last year), this is his first year in First Grade.

And I suppose the fact he can't replace Thurston in his first year must make him a dud.

I believe this is correct. Moreover, we will not be in the market for any new 'name' players in the foreseeable future, due to the state of our current contractual obligations and the salary cap.

T Rex will be relaced by someone on a very low deal. That is not to say they can't get the job done if we choose the right player, we have done this repeatedly in recent years with great effect.

This time the pressure is on Tooves to come up with another canny choice and, next year, to adapt the team to its changing strengths
