Sick of the Manly seasons derailed

There's a reason he is arguably the most hated footballer in the NRL...he smugness is not born from a place of competitive drive and desire, rather its a product of the hyper-masculine youth culture of greater western Sydney, of which he is a product. He's a hero in his own picture.
He is also a f*cking good (and massively under-rated) baller...

yeah he's got attitude but so does Reece Walsh, so does Crybaby Mam, so does Reed Mahoney etc etc - and none of those originate from Western Sydney...

It is the Instagram age and it is all about egos @LeonardCohen

As is calling someone a dumb pri<k!!! Oh but wait that’s a manly thing to say. I’d gladly tell you to your face…..unlike you lol.
Meet you out the back of the school canteen, when the bell goes, unless you have to go home with mommy. Honestly just go away

There's a fine line between putting the whistle away and officiating the game to be a spectacle. I actually thought contrary to most people's opinions that last night's game was a dud. Sure, it was brutal and close but the referee let too much go to the point that neither side really played 'football'. It was essentially a bash-a-thon. 5 hit ups and a kick for 80 minutes. It was the slowest ruck I have seen in 10 years.

It's also a big part of the Nine commentary team to hype up the quality of the game for their viewers. If one was to analyse the game objectively and forget the hyperboles from Joey Johns and Phil Gould, it was a dour game.
Personally pay little attention to commentary and often have a differing opinion, but even with the sound down I felt a fair bit of intensity in that game and thought it looked pretty tough out there with solid contacts and many gang tackles, with almost every player put on the ground hard.
The spectacle probably wasn't exciting as in an open game with numerous line breaks, as the tempo through the ruck was slowed down that much by the tacklers, halting momentum and allowing the defence to reload for the next play and be coming up with great line speed.
Qld were the team to "Break" in the war of attrition and I liked how it played out.I liked the tight contest with only a couple of late tries every bit as much as a flashy 36 - 32 shootout, but every supporter likes different aspects of the game, so what is rated a good game comes down to the individual.
Some of my mates like beer, but personally I prefer bourbon...

He's not the brightest bulb now is he? And to come out and say he has no regrets he deserves to have the equivalent of two games worth of his salary deducted by the club. He should also be forced to do some community work for the next two weeks. 40 hrs atleast. What an idiot ffs

Did Okalatu throw punches, get physically involved ?
Why did Burton only get a grade 1 and Murray and Okalatu get a grade 3 ,Seems they just pick and choose there were a few off the bench to get involved not just the 2 guys that got the grade 3
For the life of me, how do they even decide who gets what, their was so many. Maybe they put it up for the Bunker cadets to decide. In that case, this explains everything.

can we appeal the Grade 3 grading and not the charge itself .Surely common sense needs to come into it somewhere, unless Im missing something
Now that Murray has accepted the early plea, I can't see us doing anything more than saying, "Thank you, Mr V'landys. We understand that Origin biff is only acceptable in advertisements and other marketing material, and that Haumole ought to have been thinking of The Children. We gratefully accept the leniency of this punishment."

If losing Haumole for 2 weeks derails our season then our season was never worth much to begin with.

We'll be right.
I think the point is that our club and our fans wear his stupidity penalty…. Not NSW not NSW origin supporters! Why can’t the NRL just punish the player with fines? Why does the innocent club snd their supporters have to cop it! I guarantee that if they heavily fine the players their misses will stop them carrying on with such stupidity!…. No one wants an earful from their misses when they get home!

Just sayin’

Big O is in strife because he was only a spectator and spectators getting involved is a very serious issue. It was a brain snap. He shouldn't have been on the side line it should have only been bench players and trainers there.
The club should definitely challenge. He was not selected and so was not a player in that game. The match review committee has no jurisdiction over what he did for that reason. He was a spectator at the time. Manly would win the challenge.

I can't remember 1 clean season without incident in a while and it's damn annoying !!
Same crap as usual and Oka maybe a bit dumb getting involved, but in SOO where they are allowing high shots and scuffles which led to the heated moment, this suspension seems harsh.
If it's not Snake Stewart wrongfully outed by the NRL, it's injuries to key players, off field gang wars.....anyways is what it is and now gunna need to dig deep, as Oka is an integral part of Manly and it's the worst time to lose him leading up to finals (well hopefully if we make it now)
It's really going to test the character of the team from this week forward.

A bit dumb?? No offence it was sheer bloody stupidity for Haumole to get anywhere near that scuffle.

I am probably alone in this but I approve of Ola'K getting involved. I have far too often seen the Queenslanders thug out on Blues players, for advantage or sheer spite. And nothing happened. Last night everyone learned something: those days are over. If we are saying All for one and one for all, we'll it's real or it's not. And Ola'K definitely thinks it's real.

I wouldn't mind betting a few of his team mates patted him on the back in the sheds and the coach noticed that the big man was All In on this New Era Blues. I think he did right.
As for the next two games, where is @BOZO when I need him? I will do my best:
