Should we take the 2

Maybe. But seriously is there a single person who can put their hand up and say that they thought the Warriors would have maintained that intensity for the whole game.It takes incredible intensity and desire to keep playing a rush defense. They are the the traditional flag bearers for mental weakness and their coach is regarded as a dud. The whole thing was so out of character for them.

Agree with you totally against the top sides and I’m sure they would have taken the two.

Personally more a tap and go theory....usually....but in the is game against an amped NZ team, 100% needed to lead them and once behind after their dismal recent form, could easily have blown that game open as the NZ team is known for dropping heads when behind.
I feel taking 2 points at times gives the defence a lift and don't think the tap or kick should be an auto decision.
Depending on the momentum of the game, score and time clock and most importantly the opposition in the moment, should determine the best option.
As for Friday - 100% early points would have helped on many levels.

Given the wet track and the context of the game I would have taken the two; however, I do like the tap and go option in most circumstances. I don't think you can play by a hard and fast rule - always take it, or always don't - context of the game should decide.
