Ref has called a clear backwards pass forward for us

2 knock backs he’s called forward

and let a clear as day forward pass from The Sharks go

can’t tell me there hasn’t been a directive from the NRL to refs to keep the games close

Parker just has nowhere near enough upside in his defence to make up for whatever else he’s lacking. He gets great ball so often and is just too slow and boring to do anything with it.

And his hands are like concrete, so it's almost impossible for him to get the ball to Garrick quickly - that is why he gets creamed by the D so often. No sidestep, no speed, no soft hands.

Just get back to playing footy, and the scoreboard will follow.

Stop trying to score off every play, would be a good start.

We had a glut of possession and should've put on 6 tries. Poor discipline, not respecting possession and the opposition and we've let another weakened average team back in the contest. We sit where we deserve 6th/7th.

Mate, he's had a shocker for a month. Bombed so many tries, missed so many tackles. He's been letting teams back in games. He IS the weak link in that backline. When we are at.our best, he needs to be depth, not starting.

Don't get me wrong, Des will stick with him. Doesn't mean he should.

We can't keep carrying his clumsiness.
I'll say this, those mistakes will severely cost us against teams like storm rabbit's panthers who can get a roll on and are hard to stop like us. Id rather walker play there but i think its too late in the season to change them now. Plus walker is starting to shine in that new role. We will roll them this half im fairly confident. Only we kept them in the game

The really disappointing thing about that first half is that it was exactly what we didn't need, building towards a top 4 run and testing ourselves against the better teams (including Storm next week). We know we have strike power all over the place, and we know we can turn on the points. What we needed was to show composure, discipline, and a willingness to play tough (physically and mentally)... so, what did we do, came out and played Harlem globetrotters trash. It just beggars belief, We really couldn't have played any worst for what is needed at this time of year.

I know he's a big unit but paseka has stayed down in the ruck about 3 or 4 times tonight
