The next 3 weeks will likely be worse than yesterday’s ‘shambolic’ display. There’s still several players that are professional enough to give their all but I feel the majority are counting the days until the season is over.
As a coaching staff and club administration, it’s been a very badly managed season. When it became obvious, Des didn’t have any realistic back up plan to cope with Tom’s injury, my next hope was we’d offload DCE. That didn’t happen and now we’re likely stuck with both for the next 3 years.
I’d like to think the players were coached to show some resilience in tough times. Either they aren’t or they’ve decided enough’s enough and aren’t interested in putting in the required effort for the rest of the season.
