SELECTIONS are NOT the problem ..

Your point about the tries down our left side yesterday is relevant ... but in the trial it was tries down our right side .... there are more issues with our structures, commitment, defensive patterns energy and attitude than just making a couple of changes in who plays on the wing .

Harry, we have a squad of 30 and many possible alternate combinations ... some will work, some not so much. ... and whilst I agree players need to be dropped and promoted based on performance ... to think that our problem is that Dessie is not picking the same team as us ...

Is too ignore the fact that our whole 17 are playing like the ball boy's little sisters ...

It looks like the whole team doesn't believe their efforts will be rewarded with points, so everyone's head drops and their commitment falters.

Why would a prop continually bust their balls for 200+ metres per game if the ball gets kicked dead on the last tackle, or the play always dies with crappy 5th tackle options?

Why would the players flatten the opposition in defense if they know that, even if they get the ball back, any attacking fluency is probably going to be killed off by slow and pedestrian service starting from the ruck?

I agree that a winger is not solely responsible for a 40+ point loss. But the fact that mostly the same team gets named every week when we have lost the last 11 of 12 matches doesn't inspire any confidence that there is any accountability for these performances... and I suspect the players have the same feeling.
