Seibold Spam

Not trying to single people out but is anyone else tired of seeing the same 2-3 people spam every single thread with negative propaganda? It all somehow devolves into ‘Spoony needs to be sacked’ lately. I can understand some people might not like him & that’s fair, each to their own.

When we win there’s an excuse that the other team was off their game but when we lose it’s all his fault. After the loss to Newcastle I thought it was quite ironic these individuals were saying Newcastle had no forwards but didn’t once mention we were missing Paseka, Josh A + TKO who are 3 out of our 4 best props… This is just a example but I’m sure most of you know what I’m talking about.

I have no doubt I’ll be called out for accepting mediocrity but I don’t think Seibold has done a bad job so far even if I don’t agree with all his selections (most fans don’t with any coach). As a younger fan I was about 8 years old last time manly won a premiership but i’m happy in the direction the club is travelling & I’m enjoying the highs + lows of the process. We are all passionate & guilty of ‘coaching from the coach’ myself included, but the unnecessary hate has gotten over the top.

I’m tired of seeing the same old rubbish that Seibold can’t develop young talent while he has turned Lehi Hopoate who was unknown into 1 of the hottest young talents in the league. Not to mention the huge leaps Koula has taken into becoming 1 of the best centres in the comp this season.

Whilst we haven’t got any top grade talent yet with salary cap restraints Seibold has still got some of the best juniors from both codes to come over. Onitoni Large was a top 3 talent in both codes & was chased by over 12 clubs. He clearly believed in the vision for the future as did his younger brother Ashton who is the best prospect in Rugby League for a long time & will be 1 of the best players in the NRL. (Bold call but I’m very confident on it.) Other gun prospects like Walsh & Muagututia also believe in the plans for the future.

The club has been handicapped since Des Haslers decisions to give Jake, Turbo & DCE over $3 million a year. It can be debated if it was the right or wrong decision at the time but it clearly hasn’t aged well. It’s obvious we won’t win a comp while these contracts are still around & everyone knows it even though it’s tough to admit.

Seibold + Mestrov are playing the long game & I think it will work but I respect the opinion of people that think it won’t. Can we just chill on things like throw away comments in a post match press conference that they are forced to do & spam in every single thread? 😃

People on here will say it how they see it and when they see teams that we beat like the Broncos who continued their bad form from their one win from seven games before we played them say it how they see it

When people see Seibold on his presser say how happy he was from his spirited players and the great fight they put in after capitulating against the struggling Knights who we were favored to win but abysmally fell apart and capitulated , They said it how they saw it

And when people see posters like you Imagining this fantasy of Seibold and Mestrov long winning game that breaks our long decade of premiership winning drought then we will also say it how we see it and I can say that you are living in a false fantasy

Once again you seem to have missed the point.
The OP is not saying people can't express their opinion,he is saying that the never ending SPAM posters put in every thread is getting to ridiculous levels.
We know your and others opinions on Seibold,we just don't need to read essentially the same post and thoughts from the same poster multiple times every day in multiple threads.
Yes,their is block,but not every poster wants to log in every time they view the site,somehow I doubt you will get it and just reply with more gibberish.

DCE is a fan favourite and his footy isnt at the same level as the love but
I think if people honestly believe DCE is a champion halfback they have to blame others for the lack of success and effectiveness, and that blame is legendary on here

DCE for some seems to have become a belief system, above manly itself , as they shift blame on to other manly players , the mestriv, seibold team also moved him on it seems, so thats left a nasty taste for some. I see them as visionaries although it wasnt that hard to see but i am going to label them manly champions for having the balls

Also did everyone know DCE won a clive in a losing team 32 years ago. Mestrov wasnt there then …….just saying . Thats a fact, except for the 32.

As you say, everybody is entitled to their opinion. And none of our officials (or any) I suspect are fault free. But I too am tiring of reading all the repetitive negative posts from the few which usually are devoid of constructive criticism and usually resort to immature name calling.

For the record, saying Siebold has "won" the spoon is factually incorrect.
