The lack of giving a **** by the players. The year they looked like a squad of merceneries, more concerned about their pay checks than being a Manly player.

My once great Sea Eagles are just a battling club.

W are coming out of a ten year period when we had 3 of the best dozen players in the game and the club failed to build a decent roster around them.

Dont blame the 3 players for taking up a 3rd of the salary cap every club does exactly that, just read their rosters. They gave us hope and kept us believing success was near.

Going forward Haumole, Hoopaa and Koula are the new DCE/Turbo and Jurbo. Its the clubs responsibility to give them a supporting roster and coaching staff to allow them to take us forward.

I dont see Manly improving on field results any time soon, because nothing seems to change. Hope i am wrong.

DCE leaving is a bigger positive than anything else that’s happened for us in the last 10 years. He has been the leader and centrepiece of this flaky, inconsistent team we’ve come to watch over the years and only now I think we can start to build a new culture/identity.

Fogarty is a significant improvement but hard to see 2026 being much better given Tom/Jake are still taking up most of the cap and Seibold has pretty much done zero building for the future. 2027 seems to be the year we’ll have cap space to make some moves, but hard to guarantee that when our coach has a terrible recruitment track record, and we don’t even know if he’ll be there by then. That would be the biggest reason to go ahead and replace him now IMO.

The Rabbits only had to suffer Seibold for one year, the Broncos for less than two. Us? Three years going into a fourth.

What I got from this season is that we're a dumb club (twice as dumb as the Broncs and 3x as dumb as the Bunnies) just getting dumber.

Breaks my heart.

I’ll give every Manly coach a go and have with Siebs, but his tine is up and he needs to go. We should be bringing in a new coach for 26 sooner rather than later.

also the year of expansio so less players available at an affordable price

What I’ve come to realise is that the Manly of the past is unlikely to ever be the Manly of the future. There are a number of reasons for that from socio-economic factors to ownership changes, and even a family that seems to have too much influence over the playing roster.

I'm no longer sure that Manly’s core values reflect my own. While I’ve truly appreciated being a lifelong supporter, I’m starting to question whether I want to keep riding this rollercoaster forever.

What did we get? Confirmation that our club is a border line basket case and that we are in race to the bottom 4. Bring on 2026 ..... can't wait?

Another year older and deeper in debt.

The good times are further into the past.
We get to go into next season without hope.
At least the LNP has been wiped out.

TKO and JAZZ, OLd were about our best
In previous years talaua , even brown initially
Players new to the club often outperform established manly players despite age or pay packets
The turnover of the manly culture needs to continue, its soft

Leadership group needs a jig

Id go with paseka, oku fog and one of the bro’s, probably jake if he is captain

We showed glimpses of what we’re capable of but once again we’re too inconsistent to string a good run of wins together.

Hopefully with Fogarty coming next season he helps settle things down & we start playing a consistent brand of football.
