Next two games - Parra & Knights, both normally very winnable. Win and we are 4-4 and most likely in 8th. Lose and you can stick a fork in 2018 (so long as you stick it in in a joking way that has been conveyed to the recipient of the fork and not in a bullying fashion).

I don't always agree with you @Loobs but in this case you are 100% right.

Our season is on the line. Lose the next two, especially this week against a previously winless Doesn't-matta, and we may as well start looking forward to 2019.

Lose over the next two weeks and we are 2-6. And given that we then start our run against the so-called top teams......not enviable to go in down on confidence after losing 4 in a row to low ranked sides (the Tigpies are currently not low ranked, but I can't see them sustaining their current form over the course of the season).

Panthers were 1/9 for the first couple of months last year and there season went ok considering.
People are so quick to write off our team. I hope they dig in and prove the doubters wrong.

It’s a LONG season.

Not suggesting we will be grand finalists at all, but a week or two is a long time in the NRL.

Yes a tough period ahead, but we’ll get through it!!

I'm tipping Parra doesn't matter turn up this week.

1) We touched them up 54-0
2) Their backline now is reasonable and most of them have played together for a fair while
3) Their forwards have been shat on for 6 weeks for not having a go.
4) Manly have internal dramas and probably a few drama queens
5) The Dalai is being spat at by the clickbait journos and lost the dressingroom
6) Twenty backed himself into a wee hole by talking about the players re Jackogate.

We lost our first two, then won our next two and after eight rounds we won five and lost three

Crazy to think after smashing The Slime that we could be 2-6 in a couple of games.. jeez. We are better than that. Im backing us to turn it around this Weekend. Go Manly.
