Word out of Moore Park is that the Roosters have been rebranded as the Roo-sters, in recognition of the high incidence of hyphenated names in the Club's playing ranks.

That advice came from Roo-sters coach Trent Robin-son.

I'd go for Hiku at fullback and leave Jorge on the wing. I'd blood the kid over ther next few weeks because Tonga isn't the answer going forward.

If Snake gets injured again later in the season at least young Hiku would've played a handful of games and know what 1st grades all about.

Don't want him thrown in during a finals series with only 1 game in 1st grade on the wing.

I really hope Tooves gives the kid a crack tommorow night.

It has to be Hiku for me, he is a specialist fullback who excelled at the 20s level and has at least had 5-6 games now against men to get used to the physicality of it

I'll be disappointed if he doesn't get a run there

I think we can expect goods things from Hiku if he gets the fullback role. I want him to back himself and not be tentative under the high ball like he was when he was on debut. If he makes errors then so be it.

Hiku played wing v sharks when wolf was out.I expect him to do the same with Tafua to fullback or vica versa.Cant see why Tonga would be in the frame to be honest-only reason he was in last start was to cover a centre, not a winger.

This won't be popular but I don't think we will win tonight. I'd love to be wrong though I just think we are shallow in the forwards with out joe, king and Richie and also the loss of the Prince is a hard one to overcome.

Tonight is a real "RADAR MATCH" for us. Win and we are on it, lose and we are under it.
Hiku to fullback for me, at least to start.

Hiku to Fullback for mine , lets give him a go. As people have mentioned we may need a genuine fullback option later on in the year! More confidence he gets the better he will be.. Hiku has also played some 5/8 for the warriors 20's team I beleive? so perhaps he could also be more beneficial in our backline plays, chiming into the line??.

If not though and Tooves doesnt want him at FB in such a big game, then he at least HAS to get the wing spot,In saying the above though Tafua will do a good job and will make metres on kick returns which is why I think Toovey will stick with him this week as field position etc will be vital.

Interesting to see which way Toovey does go , id be happy either way as long as Hiku is at least on the wing. Esi cannot be brought in as an option IMO

You may be right HAZ....BUT not named and so Horhay to FB and Tonga to the wing.....I think.

Tonga has plenty of experience AND this could be one of those real tough brutal battles.

I think Manly may well be doing the right thing holding him back!!

Hiku definetly at FB. Let Taufua play were he is most strong, outside skivvy.

The main reason is that SBW and the big men will try an create overlaps on the left side and someone out of position is likely to shift across, rahter than staying wide. Jorge knows his position in defence.

Plus jorge under the high ball makes me nervous.
