I cannot believe the NRL would have such a dope as Maxwell control this game. He's just not very good, and has a thing against us. Plus Luke Patten is a Manly hater. Christ, why do we have to not only beat a team but the officials as well. I would like the club to put in an objection to having such crappy officials.

We need to win this game. To beat the storm. To beat the officials. To shove it up the media and the Manly hating public who continue to write us off.
We need a really disciplined performance because I sense that any excuse to bin or send off a Manly boy will be used. On the other hand the storm will be permitted to grapple, hold down, twist and rort their way across our mighty turf.

They could not beat us in Melbourne and there is no way they are going to beat us at Brookvale . The Sea eagles will be in full filght on Saturday night !!!

It's good that the result of this game now has some meaning. Melbourne could get to 2nd or even slip to 4th should they win or lose their next two matches. We could get to 3rd or slip to 5th with two wins or two loses.
I'm hoping we can recreate the atmosphere of 2011 and the famous 'Battle of Brookie' from which Gallop had to shield the eyes of kiddies .. .

They should play for the "Lussick Sheild".
We could bring the big fella back to present it,
& he can tell the kids about the days when the punches flew.
(A lot of injuries in general play, but no one ever got hurt in the fights, haha!)
