Maybe the Storm are going to be ripped apart because of player unrest. Maybe they are all upset cause Hoffman was let go. Their performance so far is quite similar to ours on Friday. Based on most opinions on here our excuse was because of players unrest and contract issues, what's the Storms excuse?

Scum are shocking so far today. That's 3 games out of 4 this weekend where a team with big forwards has just run amok over a lighter opposition in the first half.

The game has changed. The attack that teams like Manly has been succeeding with for years is fading fast.

It's a shame but we need to change our game plan and recruit the players to do it.

The storms issue is a little like ours, their team is unbalanced. They have a decent spine and forward pack but have rubbish outside backs. We have brilliant outside backs and rubbish forwards. The top teams have a good balance, take the Panthers for example, no AAA players but decent players in all positions.

I like how you guys go primarily on how a team plays on a particular day. Yesterday you were all saying the Dogs would be the easier team to play. Really, the only team we would be a chance against at the moment would be the Panthers, the rest have us covered comfortably. The Dogs would be licking their lips at playing us next week! They would roll over us easily if they play like this...our forwards are awful.

Dogs are inconsistent. The Storm aren't. If the Storm somehow win this they will be back to normal standard for next week. Cronk, Slater and Smith under Cummins can take Manly apart like Souths. The Dogs on the other hand can be just as bad as they can be good. Hoping the Dogs hang on here.
