BTW it would be great to sign Burgess just to make Crowe look like a goose. He was on TV saying Burgess has already got one green and one red eye, inferring he had all but signed with Souths.

Ouch, thats a bit harsh.

I do agree that we shouldn't sign Buhrer to FG. He's gutsy & goes hard but is not going to set the world on fire. Not sure that he could find the extra gear like Gifty did (Not that we need anyone to take over from Gifty any time soon).

From what I hear, not all from the Manly camp are convinced that he has the build to cut it as a forward in FG either.
