I think any cap issues we have are to do with Matai and Snake pure and simple. Until that is resolved we are likely unable to make any larger moves.

I struggle to see how after we have let released so many players in the past 18months, re-signed less players than we have let go, no $$ owing to Choc etc.

The Lurker wouldn't know what day of the week it is let alone year.

One club has got itself in such a financial mess with the salary cap that it's hard to see how they could possibly sign another player before the 2016 season starts.

If it was us we wouldn't have signed sironen, and certainly wouldn't have been going after dwz/whare, tigers, bulldogs or bunnies i reckon

Definately not us. BTW sironen isn't confirmed yet but from all that's been heard he's very likely to come. We have plenty in the bank, especially when matai and snake leave

I don't know how clubs can be in this sort of trouble.
Don't contracts have to be registered with the NRL.
Surely they must know if a club is close to or over while registering and refuse any contracts that put them over the cap.
If player X is going to put them over by $200,000 wouldn't the NRL say you have 7 days to fit him in otherwise the contract will not be registered.

But then again it is the NRL and that seems to simple.

Cheating the cap is different and doesn't effect to offical cap.

I reckon it's the Dogs..all the crazy furore surrounding Des and the fact that they had doods like TRex on huge coin for zero return and now they're apparently trying to offload Lloyd Perret cause he was on huge coin?? FFS we only know his name because of his brother. Plus they let Rona go and he was a try scoring machine. I Think there's more going on in the kennel Than we realise.
