Sad News For Me

Hi Guys, I have recently been diagnosed with Terminal Cancer. I am awaiting test results to see how long I have got.

I have followed Manly since 1975 and have enjoyed being a supporter of the greatest league team in history and am sad that this must come to an end.

I have also been part of the old Manly forum and now Silvertails for a while and have enjoyed the banter on this site. There are many intelligent and funny individuals but most of all you are all passionate supporters and I have been privalliged to be part of it.

I am not sure how long I have got but will continue to support the Eagles and be part of this site for as long as I can.

Thank you all for the enjoyment over the years and thank you Manly for always being a proud and successfull club.

Sorry news mate ....... You must stay strong and battle on, I have to this day got two close family members fighting this terrible disease and they receive different news every time they see there specialist and one is also terminal, all you can do is chin up and get the most out of every day, I feel for you.... All the best.

There's terminal and there's terminal mate. I lost a close family member who lived an extra 2 years past the original prediction, and plenty of it was quality time. Each case is different, so best of luck, hope to see your name on here into the future!
