Sack Spoony Siebold

100%

Our forward pack , bar 2, maybe 3 are as soft as custard.

Blow the entire place up , start again.

Love Tommy , what a champion , but we just cannot base our side around him and expect success.

Love Jake, the heart of a lion and no one is more invested , but at $950k a year it’s way way overs.
And you reckon the “cartel” sound like a broken record.

Bellamy turns average players into good players, Bennet helps get the best out of his players, Robinson, has his players believing in him and themselves Siebold can successfully turn a good team into a mob of chumps. With that I would like to thank our front office/ owners for giving manly supporters so much grief

I don't think he should be sacked, this year anyway, but we need to see some change in the line-up now.
I can understand some loyalty to bounce back after last weekends horror show, but we didn't get that today.

So time to see Navale, Paloto, get a crack.
Bully to an edge maybe (although he's better middle).

Time to send a message.

Daly’s already clocked off. We will meander through another one win two loss repeat season we’ve seen for the last 10 years.

There’s no resilience, the first sign of pressure we go to water. I hesitate to say it’s the coach because we’ve been through a few and nothings changed.

Perhaps it’s a culture thing and now the ring leader has packed up his toys and wants to go, we might well be in for the worst.

Honestly, our attack today was absolutely bereft of any meaningful direction. Apart from two intercept trays we were complete crap. This guy is one dimensional in his coaching. The Warriors made him look silly in Auckland. The Storm made him look very silly at Brookvale. And an off their game Sharks made him look like the pop gun attack coach he so obviously is.

Oh, and he's just too bloody nice, as if he's so scared of upsetting the players.
Is it the coach or is it our spine?
Tevaga and Simpkins would be at the lowest level of hookers in the 17 teams. Hoppa is a young gun and very safe but is really unable to create like the better fullbacks in the comp. DCE has always been a flat track bully. Brooks was side today but again isn't a very creative half. Personally I'd bring in Arthur, Nevale and Wakeham into the 17. I don't think we have the mix quite right. From today's team Sipley, Tevaga and Ben T out.

Agreed with most of that Robbo. Nevertheless, this is Spoons third season as coach and he has failed to do anything much to fix the glaring problems we have in our side. The same problems he inherited when he stepped into the role.

My goodness, I just listened to the press conference and switched it off at about halfway. Siebs was really proud, DCE was really proud too and there was a lot to like about today's performance. Stick a fork in us folks, we are done barring a Turbo injury free run. Turbo only paper's over the cracks I'm afraid. Spoon just doesn't have that competitive ruthlessness sadly. He's a soft touch.

It's ridiculous to call first grade footballers soft. None of them are soft. But Spoon presents as soft in terms of being a head coach. He comes across softer than any other NRL coach.

Seriously? It sounds like the mindset is we shouldn’t expect to win without Tom, so a close loss is praiseworthy. Just like the “free throw at the stumps” in that Souths game last year. Unbelievable from a first grade NRL coach to be continually “proud” about losses. What message does he think that sends to the players. Sweet, we don’t need to bust our arses to win because the coach will be ok with a close loss.

The only thing to like about today’s game was that we weren’t beaten by more by a clearly out of sorts sharks team. And it was only close because of some flukey individualist tries which had nothing to do with team structures or coaching.

Unbelievable that some people on here can’t see the bleeding obvious.
