I've sort of enjoyed this reincarnation of Biff. In fact I agree with most of his posts. I wonder how long that will last?
Yeah, he always starts out well and then somewhere along the way he / it seems to go off the rails. I never really find out why he's gone and then all of sudden he's back .....

Maybe the Barrett years showed him how bad it gets with a bad manager, and he thought not doing that again.
I could be completely wrong about this so take it with a grain of salt but replacing Seibold with Mick Ennis is rolling the dice big time, apart from him the only name mentioned people seem keen on is Matt Ballin but neither have been head coaches which could be a big work in progress

Yes but if you are going to get a head coach with experience and success the pool quickly becomes very small. We could have had Flannagan but he wasn't squeaky clean enough for our owners. Now we are forced to take a punt on a newbie or someone like Holbrook.

I half expected some sort of news from the club to address this rubbish today, but of course nothing. Probably delusional but after every loss that is mounting you just want something to happen and nothing ever does.
If it is true that Seibs and Mestrov are tight. I have read conflicting views so maybe you can confirm or deny whether that is true. But if it is, I imagine it wouldn't be easy having to tap a mate on the shoulder.

Wow. There you go, what is one meant to believe.
Mestrov was correct when baulking at re-signing DCE for 2026. DCE is no longer worthy of his place in Manly's top 17. Age catches up with everyone. Imagine the outcry if DCE was earning big money from us next season and turning in such lacklustre performances?
Ditto Brooks, who should be a well-paid reserve grader next year. Oh, and Saab.

I agree. But I'm trying to discover the level of friendship between Mestrov and Seibs. Why was he extended when no one else was interested in him? Were the players really off him and let that be known before DCE announced he was leaving. Why do management see him as the man to lead us into the future when his results are so bad?

If Mestrov and Seibs are great mates then the possibility of a conflict of interest is genuine.

Is it true or not? Fox says yes while Bomb Voyage says no.

It's not as if the media, especially NRL media, has made up something before.
True, but then that becomes a defamatory issue for Rothfield and Fox. Surely Mestrov comes out swinging after reading such a false claim. Normally when a news source wants to print baseless gossip they will write or say "allegedly." The fact they haven't is telling. Unless Mestrov is unaware of the claim by Fox?
