Just a rumour in RLW, saying Burns is being tightlipped about his future. Hopefully now that the news is made public, we'll hear something from Burns shortly in regards to this.

If manly do let Monas sign with another club within the 3 weeks, they would have to keep Burns. Burns must be smiling at the bargaining position Monas has put him in.

Hopefully Burns wants to stay. He has a great future and reports from his parents at last year's semi was that he loves it here.

I think that you will find that it is no coincidence that Monnas is being given 3 weeks to go elsewhere.

manly have offered Burns $180k for the next couple of seasons and may need to increase that to keep him. $240k from monnas will help.

Which part of RLW? The Mole? Whoever writes that column is up there with Wilson and Weidler for credibility.

I'm just relieved they didn't snap up Ballin last year when he was languishing behind Moana and Dunley.

Geez I hope we sign him up. Players with his kind of intensity and passion on the field don't come along too often. He will also make a fantastic backup hooker if Ballin ever gets injured.

Having seen the article on the front page its quite evident where Monaghan's $240K will go. Lock the currency squad up for the long term.
