Royce Hunt

I'd love to have a player like Hunt who adds lots of grunt and go forward in our pack. If it were up to me I'd offload Aloiai who looks busted most games and has been suspended this year and will be suspended for another 2 weeks.

We could use Hunt like Leniu who comes off the bench and creates havoc.

Hunt did this against the Donkeys and created plenty of go farward.

Using Brown and Hunt off the bench with the starting props being Paseka and Sipley/Lodge

If Hamole is out injured I'd start with Waddell and Bullemor onthe the bench.

Was thinking the same thing when I heard Sharks are offloading him.

We really need to sign some big names.

Thought the same, he swung the game in the Sharks favour the other night when he came on and is definitely the type of player we need

Unfortunately he plays for a team at the top of the table and is not a Moses client, so I doubt our recruitment team even knows who he is let alone considered approaching him.

Especially when the Dogs sign guys like Critter. What a gun. Sandwich should be made to watch every game he plays and learn.

I think he is opposite of what we need. He's the size of a house, has a pretty mediocre work rate and is an impact forward. We already have a big pack that is struggling to keep up with the pace of the opposition. It's not that Hunt is not a strong impact player, more that he does not fit what we need. We have Paseka, Brown and Sipley that can lumber around and knock the ten pins over on occasions. This type of forward needs to be offset with a Cameron Murray, Cam McInnes, Dylan Walker, Connor Watson type. Also, Hunt did have a nice cameo the other night but he has actually been running around NSW Cup on occasions this year.

Tuku Hau Tapuha is who id be looking at from Sharks. Plays aggressive, big unit, strong impact off the bench + a good offload. Doesn’t make their 17 when full strength & will be even harder next year with AFB. Only 22 with loads of potential & he could be the one to make way if Hunts form continues on.
