For different reasons, I don’t think including the Melbourne Storm and the New Zealand Warriors in the NRL has helped grow the game at all.

Melbourne haven’t brought anyone worthwhile into the game that wouldn’t have already been in it. The complete lack of growth in Melbourne has been their failure.

The Warriors are dumb. They’re a dumb team, a dumb club and still are not ready to be involved in a competition this big.

The NRL should have created pathways from NZ, PNG and Fiji to create a truly nation rugby league competition.
