There are so few players around being the problem. RL is hardly setting records for junior participation, in fact, it's the complete opposite. A lot of plodders masquerading as first graders these days.

So tackled mid air over the try line in the act of attempting to score so it's a penalty but not a penalty try.

Certainly wasn't clear evidence that it didn't touch a blade of grass before it came loose, which is what it's meant to be to overturn by the bunker

Slowing it down it definitely looked like he had fingers on the ball right up until the ball hit the ground. Maybe the bunker had other angles that showed separation.

Yeah, I went back and tried to find the knock on but he was putting the ball down and then it bounced. If that's a knock on then the Cobbo try last week vs the Dogs was as well.

Agree, if he went that close to scoring then surely it's more a penalty try than most.
