When you think about it, they do seem to recruit a few options at once. They has Cheese and Grant for Smith. They recruited Hughes, Drinkwater and Papenhauzen for Slater. I think Cronk was probably the only one where they didnt have a few options.

Every other club is always struggling for spine players but they just punch them out. Smith/Grant/Cheese
Inglis/Munster
Skater/Paps
Cronk/Hughes

It's actually insane how well they do there. Most clubs couldn't claim one star in this positions over 10 years, they've basically done it for almost 20 without missing a beat.

Did anyone explain why Isaako wasn't doing the kicking?

He's the best kicker they have, with the kicks being on his favoured side, and he's not kicking them. Seems like a brain fart from Holbrook.

I thought the Warriors did a decent job of turning the game into an arm wrestle. They didn't receive any rub of the green in that second half and a few mistakes really hurt them. It would have been interesting had the Arthars try been given. It was one of those one where had the referee sent it upstairs as a try it most likely would have been rewarded. Instead the referee took an each way bet on the play, no try but Warriors will get their ball back...except the bunker cleared that so the Warriors received nothing.

It's one of those games where they really missed having Tohu Harris out there. Harris and Lodge working together and just getting the Warriors on the front foot to let Johnson weave around would have just created so many more opportunities against the Roosters.

Roosters are still a class side but they just seem to lack direction at times. The only piece of play that really impressed me was the Walker try where they just kept attacking the blind-side over and over again. Otherwise it just seemed like they were going through the motions, constantly trying to score through Crichton and to his credit, Harris-Tavita really stood up defensively.

What is this kicking game from Knights??

Clifford has one of the biggest boots in the comp yet they're going with old mate Crossland who has been reserve grade all year.... and then to double up on it they've got a makeshift fullback in Mbye, but refuse to torp bomb him.
