I was hopeful the Sharkies could score 1 more try against the raiders, but then Brisbane screwed me over big time anyway.

My bet of the week was manly to score between 21-30 points for the nice price of $8.50, couldn't find any value in most other options, and wasn't i kissing my $50 goodbye at halftime.

I expected manly to run away with it, however missed the entire second half with an incident right next to me on the hill, which by the way did anybody else see?

Although i had missed the second half, couldn't complain with the tidy return of $425.

Yeah you could see it on tele, you could just see the cops but not really what was going on.

My daughter was sitting with friends and said it was pretty ugly. Said something about a father being taken away with little kids not understanding why their dad was with the cops or ambos!!!

Yeah it was pretty ugly hey! This family were sitting next to us, and the mother had dislocated her knee.

There was not a security guard or someone who could help her, and then when the police finally arrived, they stood around waiting for someone from "first aid" to arrive. 20 minutes later a stretcher arrives carried by a security guard!

When the husband asks where the hell the first aid is, or ambo's, the cops got heavy handed, reached over the injured lady and the 3 or 4 year old child, and dragged him away for "inflaming" the situation.

We grabbed the young bloke to stop him from getting squashed, mother and child in tears, husband being escorted out, it was disgraceful.

Certainly ruined the afternoon for us and those around us, with the police just standing there in front of us for the whole second half!

The situation wasn't handled well at all!
