Scrappy game, but ultimately the scoreline reflects the contest. The Bulldogs always looked the more likely side, whereas the Dolphins left it too late. Still, they went down swinging and it all came down to a tough kick. Without the conditions, I think he would have got it.

Bit unlucky too. That passage of play where Isaako was denied and they were penalised for driving the player back was pretty tough. Not to say it was a bad decision, but usually on those driving tackles the referees give the players plenty of leniency when it comes to releasing. Not so much here then Sexton gets away with a dubious pass. Again, not a bad call, but more often than not they're ruled forward live.

Lack of game awareness from Milf there. He could have brought that closer to the posts, but was too busy thinking about his swan dive.

Going by his breathing I think he should be applauded for getting over the line.

That was a stupid decision, taking the lower percentage option. If it didn't come off, you'd hook him as the coach.
