The Storm did it to us all night last week and didn't get penalised once. It happens almost every game and teams just aren't penalised for it...until tonight. If this is the marker in the sand moment and the early jumpers, etc are not going to be looked at, etc I am all for it but I am sick of our team being the first and last ones affected like Patty being sinbinned last week and then the rules changing. Kotoni getting a delayed suspension until after injury and no one else having that happen, etc.

Melbourne Storm - THE most protected/ helped team in the NRL all because they are based in AFL country and app we (being the NRL) need a strong Storm team. After going to the Storm v Warriors Anzac clash the most glaringly obvious thing was the fans are not wholely invested, they are quasi fans, the 20% warriors supporters far louder, we were livid at the BS ref calls during the game and voiced it HARD surrounded by Storm members (members lounge).. no one disagreed, they could all see it too.

Melbourne Storm - THE most protected/ helped team in the NRL all because they are based in AFL country and app we (being the NRL) need a strong Storm team. After going to the Storm v Warriors Anzac clash the most glaringly obvious thing was the fans are not wholely invested, they are quasi fans, the 20% warriors supporters far louder, we were livid at the BS ref calls during the game and voiced it HARD surrounded by Storm members (members lounge).. no one disagreed, they could all see it too.

I was at that game...I boohooed loudly over some of those calls...I had to stop myself just short of shouting Ch##t!

I think the Walsh call is 100% right but the ref overruling the bunker is a first and probably last.

And Melbourne build their entire kick chase on obstructing the catcher with no consequence.

Latrell scored a try for Souths a couple weeks back because Graham came through and cleared Herbie out of it... He was never going for the ball just backed into him and started looking at it near the end

The difference is Graham is always looking at the footy and is attempting to bat the ball backwards. Walsh only has eyes for Peachey and prioritises taking him out before attempting to make a play at the footy.

You do see incidents like Walsh's let go every week and it's been an issue for some time. This was one that comes to mind right away:

Look who the referee is. At least he's consistent!

Can’t access the video but are you referring to the try Graham scored v Dolphins when he clearly pushed a defender in the back (a la Grant last week) but the try was awarded and Annesley had the balls to defend the decision as it “was only a minor push”

I went Roosters as well, but this has upset written all over it. The Roosters have been really poor the past couple of weeks and there's no reason to believe they'll bounce back this week. Whereas this is a better Dragons outfit and usually teams perform better in the short term after sacking a coach.

As I say that, Dragons open their performance with an error.
