Round 11: Other Games (2018)

jethro will still be raving it up covered in body glitter I reckon.

I am as well seeing as I finally got the first game correct!

The commentators weren't happy with all the penalties and 2 sinbins

Definitely! The selection of Moses has the potential to challenge Nathan Merritt as all time worst debut for the Blues. I can’t fathom how he is even being spoken about tbh.
I remember Steve turner and Anthony Quinn as being on par with Merritt. But I agree Moses would eclipse them all.

Big Saturday night. A Manly win, followed by Harry having a win for all the rangas out there. (punching way above your weight!)

BREAKING: Another blow for Broncos with young gun Payne Haas needing shoulder surgery. Season most likely over. Haas latest and more NRL news in Blindside column with @travismeyn
Bennett is supposed to be the 'Father Protector' at the Donkeys but he rushed this kid back after just one week with a bad injury and it's no surprise that he's been injured again.
Seems like Bennett is really after Instant Gratification. (now, when you consider posting a response to this there are new conditions on this site governing risque retorts).

I thought the media were all praising Bennett for bringing him in and how justified he was in starting the young guy and how he proved the sausage roll eaters were wrong about young selections.

Nek minnit....

SMH

...The West Tigers defeat was their fourth in their past five matches, stripping Cleary's side of any momentum they gained from opening the season with five wins in six weeks.

Ka-thud!

A few called it on here but...again April premiers. (Well aware they are above us on the ladder, not for long though!)

Agree with you there. The Tigers' performances were never going to be sustainable. Quite similar to our performances early last year where the defence was far too straining with poor ball control and yardage being reliant on too few individuals. The most promising thing about our win against the Broncos is that we did well across the board and the fact that Marty made less than 100m! We still have a lot of our players on the sideline with some coming back over the next few weeks. Hopefully we keep our focus up.

The Dragons on the other hand seem like they are the real deal. Interested to see whether they crash like they did last year once injuries/origin start to hit them or if they just run out of gas. There is very little quality in the competition this year. Compared to the sides of 2006 - 2013, the NRL just isn't the same anymore.

Yeah.. they really do have to thank Gus for that. Their youth development programs are next level. There’s plenty more juniors that will play a lot of nrl waiting in the wings to. I mean Tyrone May hasn’t even played nrl this year yet.. I know he only came back last week. But talk about depth!!!
Tyron May is a class act. Very skilful ,fast and good defender .

He killed it last year against us in the finals. Soni Luke was another Penrith junior I thought would of played nrl by now but seems to gone off the radar. Don’t know if Penrith extended him??

Just looked up zero tackle on Penriths signings and Our mate Tyron May is signed until 2020 but Soni Luke is off contract at the end of this year . Cant keep them all feathered friend .

Panthers are going really well this year , won’t it be ironical if they win the bloody thing the year my son in law Mick passed away.

The Panthers were fantastic to him, many of the players visited him in hospital in Sydney and they hosted him and the family twice with tickets , dressing shed access and merchandise.

But sadly it’s made it impossible for me to convert the little boys!!

Damn spellcheck .... but I agree .... flog those Parra #*&@'s
Not spellcheck, just Kiwi lingo 😀
