I tell you what, the Storm look old and slow when they are reffed the same as every other team.

I'm so glad I didn't end up publishing a giant in-depth recruitment rating guide I was putting together where I had the Bulldogs recruitment at a B+ (albeit you wouldn't see the results until '23) and the Cowboys at a D+ (albeit I expected immediate improvement, but a giant Chad ceiling).

It is actually an interesting question as to who are the recruits of the year thus far.

It would be an interesting discussion of:

Reynolds v Townsend

Then the likes of Hiku, Jensen, TMM, Capewell, etc

Then also a discussion of rookie of the year. If Nanai is eligible (I don't think he is?) he'd be a shoo-in.

I do expect a full apology from Annersley to the Storm though for having to be on the end of typical officiating against any other team for the first time in their history. Of course, if there is one team that you are never going to win a penalty count against, the Cows.
