Reynolds at it again.

To answer the comments on the no-fault stand-down rule...it needs to be an alleged crime that could potentially earn the player a nine-year or more prison sentence. I doubt verbal abuse could ever be that serious (you bunch of #$%&, #$%*). Just practising...

Sorry, but I believe that you are incorrect.

The NFSD policy also carries a Greenberg discretionary power that can be invoked, upon Greenburgs discretion, for offences against females.
Despite the charge, possible sentence, etc.

edit see Dylan Walkers case for reference. He was nowhere near the 11 year threshold ( that was made up on the spot for the DeBelin case from memory).

This is a total beat-up.
Put aside for one moment that it is a disliked footballer and ask yourself: Why is this news?
I agree, however he has been charged with a domestic violence offence against a woman has he not? So too the Eels winger. I’m not suggesting he is or isn’t guilty, but it’s just another example of the mish mash setup of those running the game, where discretionary powers can be invoked at will.

Yeah...looks to me for all the world that she has entered his house unexpectedly/illegally, and he has freaked out because she's stalking him. Non-story, much as I despise the man.

So when Dylan Walker pulled his partner’s hair “allegedly” was he facing a nine year custodial sentence?

Ah, got it. So, typical knee-jerk reaction to De Belin's case by the NRL...make up a far-reaching rule on the spot, without proper thought or consultation, and add in a few clauses that allow them to break their own rule. Why am I not surprised...

The bloke is a w@nker but can’t see anything wrong in this.
What is he meant to do or say “would you mind leaving please”

Agreed he jumped the scumbag and the ref knew it but still pumped us anyway
Then marched us ten when Foran called him on it. Which made the penalty goal within range.

i did get slight satisfaction out of seeing Shayne Haynes face when security rushed out to escort him from the field afterwards... he was oblivious until he turned and saw the angry crowd baying for his blood. Then he looked like he suddenly crapped himself and scuttled off.
