Its good to see how Garrick is going at Manly, especially as St Merge didn't think he was even good enough for their Top 30 squad which is why he came to us in the first place.
He has defensive issues, but I can't fault his heart or attacking game (its good to finally have some speed on the Manly wing), and that he can kick goals is a handy thing to have. But you also have to remember that his is an NRL rookie and last night was only his 8th first grade game, so he's still really finding his feet out there.
The way Garrick plays he actually reminds me a bit of Craig Hancock. Good pace, backs up well and isn't afraid of the tough stuff.
