I used to love the Partridge Family. I have never met a Reuben.

We named our cattle dog puppy Rueben after seeing the movie Hurricane. A great dog is Rueben.

Also, everyone has been saying that our Reuben had signed an extension before the game but apparently he said on the radio that isn't true.

Hopefully the radio bit was pre-recorded!

I’ve met one *actual* Reuben, fairly recently.

But there was a kid at school whose nickname was Reuben. He had red hair; somebody on the bus randomly came up with ‘Reuben red puben’ one day, and the poor kid got stuck with it for the rest of high school!

Barring any other changes, I hope Ruby swaps with Brendan Elliot so we can see him get a run in his preferred position (centre). If he stays on his wing I’d assume Dessy wanted to maintain some stability where he can.

The only issue with that scenario is Reuben hasnt exactly set the world on fire with his kick returns and the hard runs. Doesn't power through the metres running back like Old Jorgey. Elliott would get even more man handled I reckon.

I see your point there. Elliot’s kick returns may not be very affective but it hasn’t stopped him getting named in the fullback position each week which receives more kick return opportunities than a winger. If Turbo plays at the back on Thursday this may negate some of Elliot’s weaker returns and in turn we may get an upgrade to our centres. Either way in Des I trust. I’m starting to think no Dean Whare, Waqa Blake, Nathan Cleary etc, maybe we can win this!

Very much looking forward to seeing this kid get a crack at centre. I like Miski in the side as well.

I’m happy to be patient with miski, but he has been a complete non event in his other games thus far.

Bit like Boyle, who unlike others, I’ve seen nothing to get excited about

My only worry with Garrick at centre right now is his defence. His D on the wing has been a tad flimsy at times. But then again.....we all said that about Parker and look at what he's proven to be defensively at centre.

When Turbo returns I can see Elliot moving to centre until Parker comes back, Garrick will go back to the wing with Suli having to come back through Blackdown.
