resting players

As long as melbourne don't finish second then there is no benefit to us in trying to finish 2nd. No matter who we play otherwise its going to be a game in Sydney, whether we are in the home or away dressing room won't make a difference.

I'm not a fan of resting players. It can potentially make them a bit soft. I remember Bozo's philsophy used to be you should be playing at all costs, if you need a needle to play you take it, no excuses. Make the boys tougher and getting used to playing with a bit of pain. Whilst I'm not advocating sending guys out who could get injured, its not the worst idea of them playing with niggling injuries because you want them knowing in their own minds they can push through that barrier if they need to.
