If praying actually works why did 6 million Jewish people die in the holocaust? Surely they prayed to be saved.

I'd rather die than go to heaven and if I go to hell I hope to hang out with Joseph and spend my days bitching about god because you know god would not keep him on heaven after he got his wife to be pregas. It would just be too uncomfortable for the three of them for eternity.
