Wow, I don't follow the MVP threads that closely, but this is the first time I recall not seeing Jake's name appear somewhere in just about every voter's list. Sad to see how far he has dropped off.

3. Paseka (best game, keeps improving, probably our best player in last twelve months)
2. Keppie (good to see him back, hard hitting defence today, good impact of bench)
1. Schuster (workhorse performance in defence, adjusted so well for last minute inclusion especially coming for an injured player, kept it simple in attack, if he stays second rower i reckon he can slowly bring in some of his playmaking skills, start playing a wade graham role for us)

3 Paseka
2 Marty
1 Aloiai - only got the nod from Keppie for the additional firing up and passion he showed

Keppie did well
DCE have never bagged him but he is sh1t ATM

Paseka
Aloiai
Keppie

Was very impressed with our bench props when they came on and actually brought some intensity. Not sure why people are voting Marty, yes he scored a try but every time he ran it I was expecting a dropped ball and on most occasions that was correct

3 - Paseka
2 - Taupau
1 - Keppie

I will give props to Dylan Walker. Yes his defensive positioning at fullback is poor. Yes he is highly suspect under high kicks (though lets face it, even Wombat, Rowdy, Ridgey, Snake and Turbo would have struggled in last nights conditions). But when he's got the ball in his hands he seems to be as sharp as he's ever been which is why I am looking forward to him getting back into the centres where he's at his best when Turbo does return.

For mine, those calling for Walker's head right now, especially on social media, seem to be completely forgetting that he would have trained all pre-season at centre (with maybe some at 5/8) and was literally thrown into fullback at the last moment with Turbo's Corso race induced bathroom slip. Given that he's not a fullback and unlike some has never professed to being one or even wanting to be one, I can forgive him for his lapses. I'd rather have him there playing than out injured like his last 2 years have unfortunately been. I still think he's one of the games best centres, that's just been forgotten because of the injuries and that he's had to play a lot at 5/8 and fullback.
