you can't seriously think that trying to get a bloke sacked because he is having a relationship/affair with his ex-wife is acceptable behaviour. Ray keeps using the words "dignity" and "dignified" in relation to his ex wifes public appearances..... that gives you a pretty good insight into the mentality of the man.

I see now that the media heat is ramping up on him he is starting to spin the whole episode with the RUOK/depression angle.

It's right about here that we see how serious the NRL is about their Women in League round. Here they have the Number One caller for the commercial radio station that has the League rights AND the Number Two caller for the TV station with the League rights, attempting to control his EX wife through intimidation of others.

No, not really.

That is his occupation. That's like saying its ironic a soldier wants to shoot the enemy but not be shot himself and for the most part Hadley is shooting dirtbags and pollies. Sometimes he gets it wrong though.

You don't get his rating with out a polarizing personality. He should expect scrutiny and intrusion no doubt but I can understand him fighting back. Who wouldn't?

Whether he is depressed or not who knows but a public family break up where the missus hooks up with somebody is a relatively similar area can't be easy on him. I'll respect him for being Australia's number one voice against paedophiles and weak sentencing for repeat offenders regardless of his wrong doing here because the two don't even compare in terms of importance.

This is just uninteresting gossip.

Might add, although through sheer speculation, I highly doubt neither he nor his ex-wife have been blameless in their drawn out marriage breakdown either in public or behind closed doors. From memory they have reconciled more than once previously.

I understand he is in the wrong here but its an ordinary situation for all involved, hard to judge the parties on rumours and heresy.

Excellent post Kue, (which is uncalled for in this forum!) but I'm can't agree with you entirely.

Yes its his job, but he doesn't get a free pass to sling mud and he has slung a lot on as little evidence as rumours and heresy.

He has tried his best to use his influence to ruin a lot of peoples careers and that wouldn't fall within his remit as a broadcaster.

Also not sure if he is the no 1 voice on pedophiles and weak sentencing. I'm not sure his stance is any stronger than any other media personality/shock jock or general member of the public. He might yell louder into a microphone but does that make him a community leader on the subject? Not in my opinion.
