MCK played well tonight, better speed, intensity and workrate than most of Waddell's Season

Koula is such a keeper, so young and so important already
Ok Koula has any sense he would get his manager to arrange an early release same with Huamole not going anywhere here

For a minute or two there, when Koula got his second try and we went up by two, I allowed myself a glimmer of hope. Of course, then Jazz gave away a stupid penalty on the fourth or fifth and Strange brushed off just about every Manly player on that side of the field to score and that hope was extinguished.

Don't want to blame Jazz, because we were crap all over the field and he probably shouldn't have even been out there given the injury he copped last week, but that was possibly the worst game he's played for us all year. And Cherry seems intent on adding to his losing record while he sees out the year for us. He must be one hell of a father, because he's not a footy player's arsehole this year.

Positives? Simpkin. Bully was great. Koula was dangerous. Chee Kim wasn't woeful.

Negatives? How long have you got? But the big one for me is that it's clear that Turbo at fullback is not the surefire solution to our attacking woes people expected it might be. Honestly, I still prefer Lehi at fullback, if only because he will attempt to stop tries as well as score them. Some of the arm grabbing from Tommy was up there with Cherry's piss-poor efforts.

You might not have heard of him, but there's a guy called navale they could play.
You really think he will get the call up? Lehi should be back so Talau can go back to the bench and play the role Schoupp did tonight. Those 10 minutes off the bench are invaluable!

I’ve been saying for a while that MCK should be in the 2nd row NOT Waddell. He was absolutely $hit tonight! Why why why does Siebold’s persist with him. I know he tries his guts out but he is not a starter!
Our best player currently is Koula. There are some in here who want him gone lolololol. Those tossers should be the ones to go….go & fu<k right off, don’t look back & stay the fu<k away from Manly. Support some other fu<king team!
Now I feel better ✌️

Gee what a sorry lot we saw tonight.

So much atecking ball and nothing came out of it. Designed the whole game around Turbo, and in the end Carrick and Saab barely got a touch.

Thurston made a great point tonight, neither DCE nor Brooke take on the line, they don’t take a hit, so they don’t dig in and Manly are easy to tackle.

I’d like to se the back of Brooks and Siebold in addition to DCE. Time to start a new era without these three.

Just a broken, sorry.bunch in the current form.

Agree our forwards are shot! Paseka, Olakau’atu, Aloiai are an enormous loss. TKO & Bully can’t carry the rest. Why a couple of our younger players can’t seem to get a look in is confusing……Navale & Laiafi just to name a few!
Take Tapine, Papali, Hosking, Young and Mariota out of the faders pack and see how they go.
We were missing Paseka, Aloiai, Olakau'atu, Burbo, Brown and lost Jurbo. Can't compete when 6 of your top 17 all forwards are out.

All true. But if you switch the two sets of halves, with us having Strange Fog, then we win that much.
Our rag tag forwards did enough to keep us in the match, but our two most experienced players let us down badly. One isn't trying; the other is simply not good enough.
