We have shown good form at times this year and many rounds this season have thrown up unpredictable results. I have a feeling we are due for a win today.

Need to get back to our early season form when we were whacking the opposition in defence

Today is the perfect time for the fringe players to step up and show how much they want to stay in first grade.

Would love to see strong games from Fainu, Ben T, Condon.

Hoping Jake T isn't rushing back but gee we need him playing.

Schu finally gives us another attacking option to take some pressure off DCE. Much like the team there is a huge gap between Schu's best and worst games so hoping we see more diamonds than rocks today.

Really do not know what to expect today . Would hope that the desperation factor would be permeating enough through the team to manage some type of decent improvement . Much will naturally depend on Turbo and the Shu playing well or offering some much needed spark but going to need heaps of enthusiasm in the pack led by an also very hopefully game fit Jake to get the side on the front foot or at least match the Raiders pack . D C E had one of his best kicking games against the Raiders a couple of seasons ago , certainly are going to need some semblance of that today . Maybe Koula will get some worthwhile opportunities compared with last week . Going to have to be a very committed and methodical 80 min effort to be in with any realistic chance

The annoying part is, at our best, we can match it with anyone.

I've looked behind the lounge and in the boot of my car and it's not there.

With Schu and Jake back, I'm expecting us to show more in both attack and defence. And we'll need to because if the last 3 week's performances were a restaurant meal, you'd be sending it back.

No positive spins from me today. I will be watching every second of this game and putting every single one of our players under the microscope. We have had some real lazy defensive lapses up the middle over the past few weeks. Some real reserve grade stuff. On current form we are the 2nd worse team in the comp. Another loss here today and I will be throwing $100 on Manly to win their first ever wooden spoon. I hope the boys read this post they really have been disgraceful lately.

Filter was at Brookie live with Ch9 last week and would have seen Guac’s goal defence on Hunt in the first 5 minutes. Not exactly Origin quality! I doubt he’ll be picked.
