Freddy was a great player, a tremendous player but his three year record as a coach with the Roosters ended up with a wooden spoon. Say no more
Fittler became NSW coach at the right time and at the right place where NSW played a depleted QLD side due to players retiring and being injured .
Any coach would have coached NSW to victory in those two games against a QLD machine that was out of tune and back firing.
Freddies luck ran out when the dynamic DCE ran onto the field and made QLD competitive

I think next years SOO and probably the next 4 or 5 series will be back to the way it was prior to the 13 year period we’ve just been through.

NSW have just won a series but nothing suggests QLD can’t win the next one , nor NSW the one after.

And really that’s EXACTLY the way Origin should be!!
