Geoff Toovey - we hung in there and played really tough, first hit out by both sides was really good. Both our halves will only improve the more gmaes they play, the more experience they get they are on their way up.
Anthony Griffin - they didnt have 80 minutes of football in them tonight. Against any side, let alone a quality side like Manly, you start sitting on your heels and the game is gone.
Sounds like Brisbane definately underestimated our side, and the Joey Johns influence has definately rubbed off on our halves.
Also 2V mentioned that the painkillers wore off Choc, but he had an outstanding game and will only get better. I dare say if we win our first couple of games "Choc" maybe given a few weeks off to recover from this injury.
